School Practice Officer.
Rev. James Joseph joined Yei Teacher Training College in 2007 as a Mathematics and Early Childhood Education tutor. He is also the School Practice Officer (SPO) a department that deals with practical aspect of the professional teacher. James, a veteran teacher, joined the teaching profession in 1987 as an intermediate teacher at Loka Round Intermediate School. However, he got registered as a qualified primary school teacher in 1999 with the ministry of Education and Sport (Uganda) after training at St. John Bosco Teacher Training College Lodonga, in Uganda. As a person of vision looking at the future James holds a Degree in Education of Ndejje University in Uganda majoring in Mathematics and Biological Science. He also has a Diploma in Primary Education from Kyambogo University in Uganda. As a spiritual leader Rev. James Joseph was ordained a pastor in the angelical church in the diocese of Yei in 2013.
Turning 54 years in 1/1/2019, James is married to Edina Tumalu and is blessed with four children. His hobbies include Games/Sports, Voluntary work, continuous learning and serving the Lord.
James is impressed with the level of team work, devotional culture, time management and the style at YTTC. James worked for the Government of South Sudan and various organization such as the Uganda Red Cross Society, Jesuit Refugees Service (J.R.S) in Uganda, Oxfam Holland Uganda, DED in Uganda all as a Primary Teacher and Humanitarian Assistances for South Sudan (HASS) as a teacher trainer before joining YTTC.
Administration Assistant.
Elunai is a teacher by profession. He joined Yei Teacher Training College in 2001, serving in the college as a foundational tutor for the first seven years. In 2008 he was appointed Assistant Administrator. He was assigned the roles of dealing with the general college environment, logistics and managing the support staff.
Before joining Yei Teacher Training College, Elunai graduated from Arapi Teacher Training College in South Sudan. He worked for the government of South Sudan for ten years, in the education sector in Lainya Payam by then. He taught for four years as a classroom teacher in several primary schools, worked for two years as an Inspector of Schools and four years as Education Officer of Lainya County in Yei River State. While working in Lainya, he participated in many fields such as; relief, health, women's association and in decision making in other sectors of the government.
Yei Teacher Training College supported him to undertake a two year diploma course in Business and Management at Nile Institute in Arua, Uganda.
Elunai loves working in YTTC because of the good co-operation, teamwork spirit and sharing of ideas amongst the staff members. He feels much is also being achieved in spiritual aspects, particularly that the college prays together regularly as a family.
His hobbies include spending time with friends, reading books, offering guidance and counseling.

Lekuru Hellen Ekule joined in 2006 as a pioneer female Tutor and served as the Senior Woman Tutor and Head of Language Department before going for further studies in 2007.
She rejoined in January 2015 after acquiring more knowledge and gaining more experience.
She persued Master of Art in Literature from Uganda Christian University- Mukono, Bachelor of Education from Makerere University Kampala and Diploma in Education from Kyambogo University.
Hellen is widely experienced in handling youth groups, conflict resolution and Management as well as Organizational Management. She is hard working, resilient and self motivated.
